Cleaning Systems<strong>Jetstream</strong>Making a differenceCleaningHead LifterThe system has been developed onthe basic of technology borrowedfrom aviation and aerospace research,where the special forming of edges andprofiles forces air into certain directionsHead LiftDirectionat extremely high velocity. In front ofthe cleaning module, the web passesthe ionizing bar which reduces staticelectricity to a minimum. Under certainunder- pressure conditions, theaerodynamic nozzle positioned closeto the web surface generates an extremelyhigh velocity air flow (> 150m/sec) which passes along the web surface to the nozzle edge andinto the cleaning module. This high velocity airflow breaks theboundary layer on the web and forces the captured particles intothe cleaning module.
