E Y E O N A R B O N N EYOU HAVECHOICESMy journey with Arbonne began about 18 months ago when one ofmy best friends, NVP Cheryl Plauche, told me about a new productshe was trying out. I trusted Cheryl’s opinion so I decided to try theproduct, too. Being the type of person who always loves a bargain,I signed up to be a Consultant, in order to purchase product at adiscount. The more products I tried, the more impressed I becamewith Arbonne. At the time, I was working as a CPA and senior tax manager for alocal tax fi rm. I was also juggling my 3-year-old twins, Chase andCierra. Chase and Cierra were born at 27 weeks and remainedin the hospital for 10 weeks before they came home. I desperatelywanted to stay home with them, but our family needed my income.I returned to work after just six short weeks. I settled on the fact thatI would need to keep working as a CPA, so I was not looking foranother job or hobby to add to my list of things to do. I liked theArbonne products so much though, that I started sharing them withfamily and friends and without even realizing it, I went into qualifi cationfor DM.I started attending some of the local Arbonne meetings and attendeda training in Texas in 2004. That is when I had my “ah-ha” moment.I heard incredible stories from ENVPs Cecilia Stoll and Cindy Pipkin. They made me realize that they were no different from me. Theyall had fears and doubts when they started this business and lookwhere they are now. I realized that being a determined, hard workerbrenda davisIndependent Consultant, Regional Vice PresidentBrenda Davis Region; Austin, TXand self-motivator were more important than having a natural abilityto sell. I also realized that Arbonne was enabling me to growpersonally and spiritually. It was the incredible people who I startedsurrounding myself with that encouraged me to strengthen my beliefsand strengthen myself. My heart kept telling me I was heading in theright direction and that Arbonne was where I belonged. In July 2005, I completed qualifi cation for Area. Then, I decided Iwas going to put my notice in at my fi rm and take a leap of faith incontinued ...Husband, Scott; Brenda, son, Chase and daughter, Cierra, enjoying Lake Austin.Brenda’s Why: Chase and Cierra.Brenda with twins, Chase and Cierra.

success strategy:Share this opportunityfor choices, with others.my Arbonne business. Immediately, my business exploded. It is nocoincidence that once you verbalize and write down your goals, you will start to achieve them. Even though August and Septemberwere two of my busiest months as a CPA, I still went into qualifi cationfor RVP. I fi nished in September, thanks to my wonderful team. It isincredible what teamwork can do.My husband, Scott, has been with me long enough to know thatwhen I put my mind to something, there is no stopping me or convincingme otherwise. That is what happened with Arbonne. I am verygrateful that he always believed in my determination, even though Iknow he had some doubts about the business. I think Scott had tosee my success for himself, before he could fully believe it.To my kids, Chase and Cierra: You are my biggest Why. You trulyare a blessing from God. I owe it to you and to God to make sure Iam here to watch over you and that you have guidance, protectionand most of all, love!To my mom: From you, I get my persistence, my will to never give up,and the ability to always fi nd a way to get what I want. Thank youfor always saying yes to watching the kids and for never making mefeel like I was making a mistake. To my dad: Thank you for alwaysletting mom make the four-hour drive to watch the kids.I owe everything to my wonderful team. I will always cherish thefriendships I have strengthened, and the new friendships I havedeveloped. To NVP Cheryl Plauche: I am so grateful for our midnight talks whenwe reminded each other that it was time to put on our “big girl pants.”I will never forget these conversations.
