SuperiorLifting SystemT-110 Superior Lift SystemThe Dayton Superior T-110 Superior Lift Insert consists ofa forged foot anchor, 4-leg wire base and plastic void former. The insert is positioned with the void direction toward the topof the panel and then is tied in place to the rebar cage. TheT-120 Superior Lifting Hardware allows quick attachment tothe insert and remote ground release after panel has beenerected and braced. The T-110 Superior Lift Inserts areshipped assembled, ready to go and are sized 1/8” less thanthe panel thickness.Lifting SystemsCoil InsertsStructuralPanelThicknessInsert Selection ChartFaceTension2:1 SFFaceShear2:1 SF5” 11,600 lbs 12,400 Lbs5.5” 13,000 Lbs 13,400 Lbs6” 14,300 Lbs 14,400 Lbs6.5” 15,700 Lbs 15,300 Lbs7” 17,000 Lbs 16,200 Lbs7.25” 17,700 Lbs 16,700 Lbs7.5” 18,400 Lbs 17,100 Lbs8” 20,200 Lbs 18,100 Lbs8.5” 21,600 Lbs 19,200 Lbs9” 23,000 Lbs 20,400 Lbs9.25” 23,700 Lbs 20,900 Lbs9.5” 24,000 Lbs 21,500 Lbs10” 24,000 Lbs 22,900 Lbs10.5” 24,000 Lbs 22,950 Lbs11” 24,000 Lbs 23,000 Lbs11.25” 24,000 Lbs 23,400 Lbs11.5” 24,000 Lbs 23,800 Lbs12” 24,000 Lbs 24,000 LbsT-110 Superior Lift SystemTo Order:Specify:(1) Quantity, (2) Name, (3) Panel Thickness,(4) bottom face exposed aggregate or form liner thicknessExample:150, T-110 Superior Lift Inserts, 9” Panelwith 1/2” form liner panel** Safe working load provides approximate safety factor shownin the chart with minimum 2500 psi normal weight concrete.T-120 Superior Lift HardwareThe Dayton Superior T-120 Superior Lift Hardware isdesigned to easily attach to the insert by engaging the curvedclutch handle into the opening in the anchor. The bail of thehardware is designed to readily align itself to the pull of therigging. All T-110 Superior Lift Inserts must beproperly located in relation to the center of gravityof the panel. See notes below.6" Minimum6" MinimumLedger orProjection15"MinimumSafety Notes:Safe use of the Superior Lift System requires the insertsto be positioned so that the arrows on the direction labelpoint to the top and bottom of the panel (parallel to thesides of the panel). The inserts must be properly located in relation to edges, corners, openings and ledgers, and at distances allowingthe development of a full concrete shear cone. Minimumdistances are shown in the sketches above. Placing aninsert closer to an edge than the minimums shown mayreduce the effective concrete shear cone and reduce theinsert’s safe working load.Lifting inserts must be properly wired in place sothat the vertical axis of the insert is perpendicular tothe panel surface. Care must be taken to avoiddisplacement of the inserts during concreteplacement and screeding operations.Do not weld to the Superior Lift Anchor as weldingcauses embrittlement and can result inpremature failure.04-0929
