She didn’t evensmoke or drink, she just wanted to save theBecconsall for others.”Entitled Closure, the 14–minutedocumentary about the campaign wasdirected by Ed Cartledge. It was nominatedfor the Sheffield Short Documentary awardat the Sheffield Doc/Fest 2013 but lost out toSlomo by Josh Izenberg.It was one of more than 100 films shownover five days from Wednesday to Sunday,June 12 to 16 and a first at the festival for theself–taught 33–year–old director whosefull–time job is filming documentaries forcharities and firms.Recalling the two–year journey toThe cover for ClosureCode NAcomplete the film, Ed said: “We made it witha very small budget, filming at crucial stagesof the campaign.
