Membership Application FormI desire to become a member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Society</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Irish</strong> <strong>Foresters</strong>, andenclose Cheque/P.O./M.O. for ................ ...... ..... , being subscriptionfor year ................. .<strong>Full</strong> Name ...... . . ....... ... ..... ........ .... ... ... .......... .. .. ... ......... .. ..Occupation . .. ...... .. ... .. .. . . . .. . ..............................................Postal Address ..................................................................Signature .... .. ........ ... .. ..... ....... .. ......................... ......... ..... .Date ...... .... ... .... ........... .... .. ................ ... .... .. ................... .Bleck LeitersTo be forwarded when completed to the Secretary at Albert AgriculturalCollege, Glasnevin, Dublin.CONDITIONS OF ME<strong>MB</strong>ERSHIP(EXCERPTED FROM THE CONSTITUTION)Article V.-<strong>The</strong> membership <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Society</strong> shall consist <strong>of</strong> two Orders,namely: Technical and Associate.TECHNICAL ME<strong>MB</strong>ERS shall be persons desirous <strong>of</strong> promoting the object andat the time <strong>of</strong> election resident in Eire, who are employed for their whole timein forestry or any branch ,<strong>of</strong> natural science closely connected with forestry, orwho have been so employed for at lea~t five years, or who, though not soemployed hold a degree or diploma in forestry <strong>of</strong> a recognised University orCollege, in all cases subject to the approval <strong>of</strong> the Council.TECHNICAL ME<strong>MB</strong>ERSHIP shall be divided into two grades, namely :_Grade I-Being Forestry Inspectors; pr<strong>of</strong>essors, lecturers, graduates orholders <strong>of</strong> diplomas <strong>of</strong> Universities or Colleges; Head <strong>Foresters</strong>,and others <strong>of</strong> an equivalent status,Grade 2-Being <strong>Foresters</strong>, Foreman <strong>Foresters</strong> and others <strong>of</strong> an equivalentstatus, including students at Universities or Colleges, not beingrestricted to Grade 1.ASSOCIATE ME<strong>MB</strong>ERS shall be persons desirous <strong>of</strong> promoting the object butnot qualified for technical membership, subject always to the approval <strong>of</strong> theCouncil.Members shall subscribe annually t<strong>of</strong>ollowing scale <strong>of</strong> SUbscriptions :-the <strong>Society</strong>'s funds according to theTechnical Members, Grade I , shall pay £1 0 0Technical Members, Grade 2, shall pay 10 0Associate Members shall pay 15 0
