ThanksThe A to Z section of this style guide had its genesis in the deep dark history of the School(SJC), probably in the 1990s. A key figure in its development was Dr Steve McIllwain, whowrote much of the early drafts of the A to Z. Later updates were completed by Professor MichaelBromley and Dr Chris Lawe-Davies, who was Editor of the 2010 edition.This 2012 revision was the work of SJC staff member Brad Turner.The JACdigital section was put together by Skye Doherty, who takes care of the hands-onrunning of the site.The JACradio style guide was developed by Dr Chris Lawe Davies and Heather Stewart, andrevised for this edition by Donna Meiklejohn.Thanks to News Limited whose introduction to grammar in Style: The essential guide forjournalists and professional writers is lucid, brief and extremely useful.
