Preface 20bless him with eternal rewards in the HereafterThe translation from Siirah & Mim As-Sajdah was undertakenby my learned friend Mr. Shamshad Siddiqi, except for siirahsAd-DukhZn and AljZthiyah t.hat are translated by MoulEnZ AhmadKhalil 'Aziz of South Africa.Another change that took place in the course of preparation ofthis voiume is that the translation of the text of the Holy Qur'Zn, asmentioned in the beginning of the first volume, was carried out bythe joint effort of a committee, but when Professor MuhammadShamim left for USA, the committee decided that the translation ofthe text of the Holy Qur'Zin should be undertaken by me alone.Accordingly, I am responsible for the translation from StirahAl-AnbiyZ onwards, and I am pleased to say that AlhamdulillZh thetask has now been completed to the last Siirah of the Holy Qur'Zn.The translation of the eighth volume of the commentary isundertaken by MoulZniiAhmad Khalll 'Aziz of South Africa and isclose to its completion.I am extremely thankful to Mrs. Shamim and her sons Mr.Shama'il and Mr. Sadim whose sincere efforts facilitated thepreservation of the script of the book and its transmission to us.Acknowledgements are also due to Mr, Yousuf Noor, Mr. IshZqNoor, Mr. Yousuf Ghanl, MoulGnG 'Abdullah Memon, Mr. RafatSaghTr F5rooqui and Mr. Ibrahim NafTs whose valuable assistancemade it possible to present this volume.
