TredegarCorporation’s (parent company of Tredegar Film Products) operations include over 2,000employees throughout the world.By upgrading its install of Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne from 8.10 to 9.0, the globalenterprise retained a consolidated, unified platform, on time and within budget.Manufacturing operations could not accommodate lengthy downtimes, meaning theupgrade needed to be carefully planned and efficiently executed. Taking this into account,SYSTIME adopted an innovative methodology that could isolate and rework the conversionprocess, thereby saving about18 hours from the time required for Tredegar’s tableconversions.As a result, Tredegar was able to successfully upgrade to JD Edwards 9.0, with minimaldisruption to its operations.
