This reliably preventsboth mechanical stress as well asline voltage dips. The motor voltage isreduced through phase angle controland increased from an adjustable startingvoltage up to the line voltage withinthe ramp time. Thanks to the step-freecontrol of the supply voltage, the motoris adjusted to the driven machine’s loadbehavior. Mechanical operating equipmentis accelerated in a particularly gentlemanner, which positively influencesits operating behavior and prolongs itsservice life. In short: Soft starting andstopping protects the connected devicesand ensures a smooth production flow.Can load feeders be assembled withsoft starters?Of course. Fuseless load feeders of smallsize can be effortlessly assembled withcircuit breakers, e.g. the SIRIUS 3RV.Thanks to the integrated overload functionality,also fused feeders can be realized1) in a rapid and space-saving manner.How is the connection realized?Connection is realized in the samemanner as with all other SIRIUS devicesfor the control cabinet: either usingscrew-type or spring-loaded terminals.Further connection systems can beemployed subject to availability.What about communication?As a matter of course, our soft startersare able to communicate with the outsideworld.
