Structures arefinalized in certain conditions, and it made itpossible for these facilities to be used for relativelong period of time for certain purpose.But time under the several environmentalconditions has had significant impact in thesefacilities, and this is mostly presented as damagesto concrete as the main material.The need to use the same facility for more thanone purpose made us think of need to repair andimprove concrete as a material in construction,since it was studied and found to be the mostefficient option for the moment.1.a. The behavior of concrete as a materialduring the stages of use in the first facilityIn structures analyzed in this paper: thederivation water channel in Radac, near Peja andthe water tank in Podujeva, concrete has beensubject under the several conditions. In bothcases the facilities were underground, so theeffect of outside temperatures is not taken intoconsideration. Characteristics of derivation water channel inRadac, near PejaThe water channel is underground and it is 500meters long. The role of this channel is to bringwater from water source to the water tank.
