Students should not bring a guest to school unless the principal or assistant principal has approved arrangementsin advance.Address ChangesIt is mandatory that the school has a 9-1-1 Address on all students. You should make sure your child’shomeroom teacher has this information the first week of school. Please report any change of address or telephonenumber to your child’s teacher and the office immediately. It is imperative that the school has at least one phonenumber where we may reach you, in case of emergency. Please keep us informed!Illness or InjuryIn case of illness or injury, a student will be cared for temporarily by a member of the school staff. Schoolpersonnel will render first aid treatment only. If emergency medical treatment is necessary, the parents will becontacted. If parents are not available, the student will be taken to the emergency room at the hospital.Remember an emergency telephone number where parents or a guardian can be reachedmust be on file at the school. Please list at least two numbers in the order in which theyare to be called.TelephoneThe telephone in the office is for school business only. Students will not be allowed to accept or return phonecalls . If you would like a message delivered to your child, or your child’s teacher, please talk with the secretary.If a student becomes ill during the school day, the office staff will contact the parent/guardian. You should alsomake sure your child knows what procedure to follow should a ballgame or after school activity be cancelled.6
