CENTRAL DAUPHIN HIGH SCHOOLPARKING RULES and REGULATIONSHow do I purchase a Parking Permit?1. $25 cash or check made payable to Central Dauphin High School2. Valid Driver’s License3. Vehicle Registration4. Proof of Auto Insurance5. Parking Permits are good only for the school year indicated.6. Must sign a log agreeing to abide by the Parking Rules and Regulations.Rules and Regulations1. Valid Parking Permit must be displayed on inside front windshield on the bottom passenger side.2. Parking Permits are not transferable.3. General Student Parking is in the lot next to the tennis courts, behind the gym and cafeteria.4. The Small Parking Lot by the Music Wing is reserved for CO-OP, HACC, and CASA students. Those studentsMUST park in this lot. Unauthorized parking will result in fine and/or possible towing at owner’s expense.5. The Front Parking Lot is reserved for visitors and selected staff. Students are not permitted to park there.6. Marked spots by the cafeteria are reserved for cafeteria staff. Do not park in those spots.7. Vehicles must be properly parked between the white lines.8. The speed limit on school property is 15 MPH.9. Every student must register any vehicle they intend on driving to school. If you drive a different car that isnot registered, please see Mrs. Thomas in the morning.10. By signing the transportation permission form, you are agreeing to abide by all parking rules and regulationsas set by Central Dauphin High School. You understand that you are giving Central Dauphin High SchoolOfficials the right to search the vehicle you drive to school, if they deem necessary.11. Student Parking Permits may be revoked at any time by Central Dauphin High School as a means ofconsequence and/or failure to comply with the rules set forth on this document. Driving to school is aprivilege not a right.12. Students who violate the District’s Drug and Alcohol Policy shall forfeit their parking permit.13. If your parking permit is revoked, your money will not be refunded.Consequences for Violations1. Simple Violations (parking over the lines or in unauthorized areas, speeding, reckless driving, etc.)a. 1 st Violation – Warningb. 2 nd Violation - $5 Finec. 3 rd -5 th Violation - $10 Fine (each)d. 6 th -8 th Violation - $20 Fine (each) and/or towing at owner’s expense and /or permit revoked2. Driving through Medians/Over Grass = $10 Fine (no warning)3. Unidentified/Unregistered Vehicles = $20 Fine and vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense (nowarning)4. Fines will become obligations and will cause diplomas and prom attendance to be withheld until resolved.5. Parking Lot Attendants and Administration reserve the right to adjust consequences as needed.
