CENTRAL DAUPHIN HIGH SCHOOLPARKING RULES and REGULATIONSHow do I purchase a <strong>Parking</strong> Permit?1. $25 cash or check made payable to <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Dauphin</strong> High <strong>School</strong>2. Valid Driver’s License3. Vehicle Registration4. Proof of Auto Insurance5. <strong>Parking</strong> Permits are good only for the school year indicated.6. Must sign a log agreeing to abide by the <strong>Parking</strong> Rules and Regulations.Rules and Regulations1. Valid <strong>Parking</strong> Permit must be displayed on inside front windshield on the bottom passenger side.2. <strong>Parking</strong> Permits are not transferable.3. General Student <strong>Parking</strong> is in the lot next to the tennis courts, behind the gym and cafeteria.4. The Small <strong>Parking</strong> Lot by the Music Wing is reserved for CO-OP, HACC, and CASA students. Those studentsMUST park in this lot. Unauthorized parking will result in fine and/or possible towing at owner’s expense.5. The Front <strong>Parking</strong> Lot is reserved for visitors and selected staff. Students are not permitted to park there.6. Marked spots by the cafeteria are reserved for cafeteria staff. Do not park in those spots.7. Vehicles must be properly parked between the white lines.8. The speed limit on school property is 15 MPH.9. Every student must register any vehicle they intend on driving to school. If you drive a different car that isnot registered, please see Mrs. Thomas in the morning.10. By signing the transportation permission form, you are agreeing to abide by all parking rules and regulationsas set by <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Dauphin</strong> High <strong>School</strong>. You understand that you are giving <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Dauphin</strong> High <strong>School</strong>Officials the right to search the vehicle you drive to school, if they deem necessary.11. Student <strong>Parking</strong> Permits may be revoked at any time by <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Dauphin</strong> High <strong>School</strong> as a means ofconsequence and/or failure to comply with the rules set forth on this document. Driving to school is aprivilege not a right.12. Students who violate the <strong>District</strong>’s Drug and Alcohol Policy shall forfeit their parking permit.13. If your parking permit is revoked, your money will not be refunded.Consequences for Violations1. Simple Violations (parking over the lines or in unauthorized areas, speeding, reckless driving, etc.)a. 1 st Violation – Warningb. 2 nd Violation - $5 Finec. 3 rd -5 th Violation - $10 Fine (each)d. 6 th -8 th Violation - $20 Fine (each) and/or towing at owner’s expense and /or permit revoked2. Driving through Medians/Over Grass = $10 Fine (no warning)3. Unidentified/Unregistered Vehicles = $20 Fine and vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense (nowarning)4. Fines will become obligations and will cause diplomas and prom attendance to be withheld until resolved.5. <strong>Parking</strong> Lot Attendants and Administration reserve the right to adjust consequences as needed.
