general regulationsREG 3.5REG 3.6REG 3.7DisclaimerREG 3.5.1BUCS cannot accept any liability for any death, accident, injury or loss ofproperty sustained by a Board member, Executive Group member, TechnicalRepresentative or others acting on behalf of the Association.Representative Nomination FormsREG 3.6.1 Nomination forms for BUCS representative sport (including English,Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland Universities and internationalrepresentation) will be accepted only if signed by an official representativeof the Athletic Union (or equivalent).REG 3.6.2 Two signatures will be required on such forms:REG 3.6.2.1 One to signify the support of that institution for a playerbeing put forward for representative selection.REG 3.6.2.2 One to confirm the acceptance by that institution of liabilityfor the costs incurred by that player / competitor during thecourse of that season’s representative programme.REG 3.6.2.3 Institutions are entitled to sign part a) of the nominationform supporting the student while declining to acceptresponsibility for costs incurred (i.e. not signing for asecond time).REG 3.6.2.4 Students for whom their institution will not support theirnomination for representative selection will have the rightto appeal to BUCS’s Disciplinary Committee who shallconsider the dispute in an appropriate timescale whenissuing nomination forms.REG 3.6.2.5 BUCS will endeavour to provide an accurate assessment ofpossible costs that could be incurred.Disciplinary FinesREG 3.7.1 Where an institution is subject to a financial penalty following proceedingsof the Company’s Disciplinary Committee, that institution will pay the saidpenalty within thirty days of dispatch of invoice.general regulationsREG 4. Amendments and additions to this list can only be made with the endorsementof the CEO on the recommendation of the relevant Sports Advisory Group (SAG).25
