The hydraulic channels in the percussion house ishydro-dynamically designed, and thanks to this, the installed power that is fed to the rock drillis utilized in a way that previously has not been possible.• Efficient, hydraulic dual-damping system together with a floating adapter absorbs and dissipatesthe shockwaves from the rock, as well as establishing the best possible contact betweenthe drill bit and the rock. Thanks to this, the rock drill transmits maximum power to crush therock without risking non-tightening of threads in the drill string.• Thanks to the rugged design of COP 3060MUX, it is possible to drill 600 hours between service:the driver has been given a new, slightly arched shape which dramatically decreases thewear of the driver; the number of internal parts is decreased, which gives higher serviceability;the number of mating surfaces is also decreased, this minimizes the risk of water- and dustintrusion; the weight is low in relation to the power which leads to less wear of the drillingunit. In addition, the low weight facilitates dismantling of the rock drill.• The external flushing head gives improved serviceability when changing flushing seals, sincethe extractor unit does not have to be removed.• The compact and modern design of the COP 3060MUX provides high manoeuvrability of thedrilling unit in narrow sections.• In order to adapt the rock drill for different rock conditions or to new drill parameters, such aschanging of the drill string or bit model, the stroke settings are easily changed from the operator’spanel.
