land ownership. In Ndian division in Cameroon, investors
have signed a similar pact with the government of
Cameroon to use 70,000hectares of land for palm
plantation, without due consultation with the indigenes.
Currently, the indigenes of Ndian division are waging a
similar fight. So, as a people whose problems are similar, I
stand in shoulder with the Gambella people of Ethiopia to
say no the land grabbing, no to family displacement, yes to
dialogue with the indigenes and let their opinions be the
guiding force to any project in their land.
