Please use the quite potent stick you hold over Ethiopia to
encourage them to refrain from divesting themselves of
their own land and handing it over to corporate
agribusiness. It will be a cycle from which they will never
escape as a nation, further compounding poverty with
terrible working conditions. Instead use the $1 billion
annual carrot to encourage Ethiopia to reform its land
ownership laws so that Ethiopians themselves can be the
owners and stewards of their own wonderful country.
I appreciate the hard work you both do to facilitate the
betterment of humanity across the globe.
