Please use the quite potent stick you hold over Ethiopia to<br />

encourage them to refrain from divesting themselves of<br />

their own land and handing it over to corporate<br />

agribusiness. It will be a cycle from which they will never<br />

escape as a nation, further compounding poverty with<br />

terrible working conditions. Instead use the $1 billion<br />

annual carrot to encourage Ethiopia to reform its land<br />

ownership laws so that Ethiopians themselves can be the<br />

owners and stewards of their own wonderful country.<br />

I appreciate the hard work you both do to facilitate the<br />

betterment of humanity across the globe.<br />
