Something needs to be done~ I really don't have the solution~ but the droughts and starving people need help. I don't think bringing in large scale agricultural plantations while dislocating the people is the solution. Can't money be spent on helping them to farm their lands with help with wells and irrigation? You know much more than I do about this so ,please help these people how to farm the land to feed themselves,not let outsiders come in and take over.
