and Food Sciences<br />
Its ma<strong>in</strong> purpose is the preparation <strong>of</strong> advanced university graduates who are pr<strong>of</strong>essionals<br />
<strong>in</strong> recogniz<strong>in</strong>g and manag<strong>in</strong>g the latest biological, chemical, technological and economic<br />
<strong>in</strong>formation <strong>in</strong> a variety <strong>of</strong> fields, i.e. modern procedures <strong>in</strong> production, evaluation and<br />
process<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> food and specific biotechnology products. In terms <strong>of</strong> targeted, effective and<br />
compatible research activities, the faculty is orientated on the area <strong>of</strong> genomics, modern<br />
biotechnology, food quality and safety. Its ma<strong>in</strong> aim is to achieve biological and technical<br />
<strong>in</strong>tegritry <strong>of</strong> a system “nutritive – agricultural product”.<br />
