NCMEC provides training to United States Attorneys and Project Safe Childhood Coordinatorsat national Project Safe Childhood Conferences. NCMEC’s Exploited Child Division CVIP andCyberTipline staff provide resources and technical assistance to law enforcement. To preventduplication of efforts, NCMEC provides monthly deconfliction reports to United StatesAttorneys and ICAC Task Forces describing all law enforcement efforts stemming fromCyberTipline reports in their states.Additionally, NCMEC provides information to the Office of Victims Assistance (OVA) aboutvictims of child pornography who have been newly identified by law enforcement so that OVAcan begin providing services.2. Childhelp’s programs and services also includeresidential treatment services (villages); children’s advocacy centers; therapeutic foster care;group homes; child abuse prevention, education and training; and the National Day of Hope®,part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month every April.i. Darkness to LightDarkness to Light is a national nonprofit 501c3 organization and initiative located in Charleston,SC. The organizational mission is to diminish the incidence and impact of child sexual abuse, sothat more children will grow up healthy and whole and to deliver programs that will raiseawareness of the prevalence and consequences of child sexual abuse by educating adults aboutthe steps they can take to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to the reality of child sexualabuse.ii. Sincethen, EIE has pioneered and led the effort to confront online pornography, child pornography,child stalking and sexual predation with innovative initiatives and effective communications.iv. i-SAFEi-SAFE Inc. is a non-profit foundation dedicated to protecting the online experiences of youtheverywhere. i-SAFE incorporates classroom curriculum with dynamic community outreach toempower students, teachers, parents, law enforcement, and concerned adults to make the Interneta safer place.v. Kristi House, Inc.Kristi House provides a healing environment for all child victims of sexual abuse and theirfamilies, regardless of income, through prevention, treatment and coordination of services withour community partners.vi. Nevada Child SeekersNevada Child Seekers, a registered nonprofit organization, created in 1985, advocates for andengage in prevention, identification and location efforts on behalf of missing and exploitedchildren.vii. Paul And Lisa Program IncThe organization strives to meet the changing needs of the community to help prevent sexualexploitation of children. Web Wise Kids Inc.Web Wise Kids offers fun, challenging and interactive simulations based on real-life criminalcases—MISSING, Mirror Image and Airdog to teach children about Internet risks.ix.
