NCMEC provides training to United States Attorneys and Project Safe Childhood Coordinatorsat national Project Safe Childhood Conferences. NCMEC’s Exploited Child Division CVIP andCyberTipline staff provide resources and technical assistance to law enforcement. To preventduplication of efforts, NCMEC provides monthly deconfliction reports to United StatesAttorneys and ICAC Task Forces describing all law enforcement efforts stemming fromCyberTipline reports in their states.Additionally, NCMEC provides information to the Office of Victims Assistance (OVA) aboutvictims of child pornography who have been newly identified by law enforcement so that OVAcan begin providing services.2. The Childhelp® National Child Abuse Hotline, 1-800-4-A-CHILD operates 24 hoursa day, seven days a week, and receives calls from throughout the United States, Canada, the U.S.Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam. Childhelp’s programs and services also includeresidential treatment services (villages); children’s advocacy centers; therapeutic foster care;group homes; child abuse prevention, education and training; and the National Day of Hope®,part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month every April.i.
