if restorati<strong>on</strong> with an implant-borne total denture is planned (bar, retentive anchor,<br />

steco ® titanmagnetics ® , Locator ® ), <strong>the</strong> existing pros<strong>the</strong>sis can be used as a<br />

temporary denture. in this case, <strong>the</strong> implants are provided with an appropriate closure<br />

screw during <strong>the</strong> healing phase.<br />

in order to avoid premature loading, <strong>the</strong> existing denture must be hollowed<br />

adequately in <strong>the</strong> regi<strong>on</strong> of <strong>the</strong> placed implants. retentive anchors should be<br />
