Custom made drilling templates
a custom made drilling template can facilitate planning and the preparation of the
implant bed and enables precise use of the cutting instruments. the basis of planning
when making this template for the surgical operation should be the desired prosthetic
result.

With these components, a surgical drilling template can be produced in the usual
manner.
the 10 mm long metal pin can be integrated in the template as an X-ray reference
pin. the X-ray provides the necessary <strong>information</strong> regarding the implant axis and the
implant position.
the drill sleeve is secured in a drilling template in accordance with previous planning.
for definitive checking, an X-ray can also be taken with the drilling template. a pilot
drill Ø 2.2 mm is then used for the subsequent drilling.
