On 17th July, the Sai Organisation of Medakdistrict distributed implements to selectedbenefi ciaries and presented a programme ofdevotional music.to Bhagavan and received the item earmarkedfor them.After this, ladies and gents singers of thedistrict presented a bouquet of devotionalsongs at the Lotus Feet of Bhagavanwhich was appropriately named “HridayaKusumanjali” (offering of fl ower of heart). Allthe songs were rendered with heart full ofdevotional feelings both by ladies and gentssingers and immersed the entire gathering indevotional fervour. The entire programme waswell rehearsed, well planned and well renderedwhich kept the audience spellbound for morethan one hour. At the end of the programme,Bhagavan showered His blessings on thesingers and distributed clothes to them. Healso materialised a gold chain for a child. Afterthe distribution of Prasadam, the programmecame to a close with Arati to Bhagavan at 6.45p.m.Devudunnadu: A Musical Dance DramaOn 18th July 2009, the Bal Vikas childrenand youth of Medak district presented a musicaldance drama “Devudunnadu” (God is NowHere) which not only depicted the existenceof God on earth but also gave a clarion callthat He is present in human form at PrasanthiNilayam. Commencing at 5.35 p.m. with a songand dance of Bal Vikas children as invocationto Lord Ganesh, the drama portrayed the storyof a youth who denied the existence of God andwas ultimately transformed when he came toknow the divine glory of Bhagavan Sri SathyaSai Baba. Embellished with immortal poemscomposed by Bhagavan, the drama was anA scene from the musical dance drama“Devudunnadu” presented by the youth andBal Vikas children of Medak district on 18thJuly 2009.uplifting, elevating and illuminating experience.Thrilling music, scintillating dance of thechildren and excellent choreography added tothe value of the drama. At the conclusion ofthe drama, Bhagavan showered His blessingson the cast, posed for group photos with them,gave them the rare gift of Padanamaskar alongwith clothes and mementoes with His DivineHands and made them blissful by conversingwith them. After Bhajans and distribution ofPrasadam, the programme came to a closewith Arati to Bhagavan.Giving and forgiving – by these alone can we fill our life with love. By getting and forgetting,selfishness grows. Forgetting the favours taken from others is the prime reason for growingselfishness.
