The hall reverberated withsacred chants of “Jai Jai Vitthal, Jai Hari Vitthal”when <strong>the</strong> traditional palanquin was brought to<strong>the</strong> performing area of <strong>the</strong> hall amidst singingand dancing by <strong>the</strong> Varkar<strong>is</strong> (pilgrims) and BalVikas children. Excellentchoreography, appropriate costumes,elaborate props, excellent stage managementand brilliant dances of children contributed to<strong>the</strong> success of <strong>the</strong> presentation. First, <strong>the</strong>devotees from Brazil presented <strong>the</strong>irThe devotional music programme presentedby <strong>the</strong> devotees of Brazil on 8th July 2009 wasvirtually a feast for <strong>the</strong> soul.in Portuguese including two Hindi Bhajans“Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam” and “HaraHara <strong>Sai</strong> Maheswara”, which were renderedwith total perfection of tune and rhythm.After th<strong>is</strong> excellent vocal music presentationby <strong>the</strong> Brazilian devotees, a group of Indonesiandevotees presented a unique programme ofinstrumental music, using musical instrumentsmade of bamboo. Although <strong>the</strong>y rendered <strong>only</strong>A marvellous d<strong>is</strong>play of musical talent by<strong>the</strong> devotees of Indonesia on <strong>the</strong>ir musicalinstruments made of bamboo.
