Flo-ThruProviding optimalflow during theconstruction ofa preciseanastomosis.Flo-ThruIntraluminal Shunt ®

Flo-ThruThe Flo-Thru Intraluminal Shunt ® is a simpleatraumatic method of controlling bleeding, stentingvessels and ensuring myocardial preservation duringcoronary bypass grafting. Flo-Thru combines thelatest in intraluminal shunt technology and 25 years ofclinical success with the Flo-Rester ® Internal VesselOccluder. The Flo-Thru Intraluminal Shunt, a single-pieceradiopaque silicone tube with an atraumatic bulbshaped at each end, is designed for optimal flow andsafety. The bulbs create a blood-free field and theFlo-Thru lumen provides perfusion of the distalartery. Once in place the shunt stents the vessel whichallows for ease of suturing and reduces the likelihoodof backwall suture. A radiopaque tab identifying theouter diameter of the bulbs is attached to the shunt bya tether which can be used to facilitate positioning andremoval of the shunt.Proven PerformanceThe use of a Flo-Thru shunt is associated with:.Greater flow than with tested competitive shunts 1, 4.Good myocardial preservation 2, 3.Improved myocardial pH 2.Total revascularization 3.Low conversion rate to CPB 3Easy InsertionVessel Occlusion, Stentingand Distal PerfusionEasy Atraumatic Removal

Surgical ApplicationsFlo-Thru is designed to facilitateanastomosis during:.Bypass surgery.Beating heart surgery.Peripheral vascularproceduresClinical Benefits.Unique single-piece design with large internaldiameters provides exceptional distal perfusion.Multiple sizes, in 0.25 mm increments, ensure an idealfit for a blood-free field and improved visualization atthe site of anastomosis.Tapered bulbs allow for ease in insertion.Flexible silicone material allows for easy, atraumaticremovalA Convenient Choice.Cost effective _ up to 50% less expensivethan competitive shunts.Available in a variety of bulb diametersizes from 1.0 mm - 3.0 mm.Supplied sterile and ready to use
