Poultrypackaging plants use high-pressure water jets to cleantheir processing equipment. During this hosing downprocedure some water can force its way past the seal lip,contaminating the lubricant and causing bearingcorrosion. The existing seals had worn grooves in theexpensive shafts.SPEEDI-SLEEVES ® were used to repair the groovedshafts without removing them from the equipment.
