Configuring RTCP QoS parametersConfiguring RTCP QoS parametersUse <strong>the</strong> following commands to configure QoS monitoring for RTCP:●●Use <strong>the</strong> set qos rtcp command to permit <strong>the</strong> setup <strong>of</strong> RTCP parameters. Theparameters that can be set are enabling or disabling RTCP reporting capability, setting <strong>the</strong>IP address <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> monitor, setting <strong>the</strong> reporting period (<strong>the</strong> default is 5 sec.), and defining<strong>the</strong> listening port number.Use <strong>the</strong> show qos-rtcp command to display QoS, RSVP, and RTCP parameters.Configuring RSVP parametersVoIP uses <strong>the</strong> RSVP protocol to reserve network resources for voice data while communicatingwith o<strong>the</strong>r media gateways and o<strong>the</strong>r VoIP entities, such as IP phones and S<strong>of</strong>tphones.●●Use <strong>the</strong> set qos rsvp command to set <strong>the</strong> current values for <strong>the</strong> RSVP parameters <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> VoIP engines. The parameters that can be set are enabled/disabled, refresh rate(seconds), failure retry (y or n), and service pr<strong>of</strong>ile (Guaranteed or Controlled).Use <strong>the</strong> show qos-rtcp command to display QoS, RSVP, and RTCP parameters.Issue 3 January 2005 75
