Basic device configurationThe following example uploads a firmware version with <strong>the</strong> path and file name C:\g350.net froman FTP server with <strong>the</strong> IP address 149.49.134.153 to Bank A <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>:copy ftp SW_imageA C:\g350.net 149.49.134.153Managing configuration filesA configuration file is a data file that contains a complete set <strong>of</strong> configuration settings for <strong>the</strong><strong>Avaya</strong> <strong>G350</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Gateway</strong>. You can use configuration files to back up and restore <strong>the</strong>configuration <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>. Use <strong>the</strong> FTP or TFTP protocol to transfer a configuration file between<strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong> and a server on <strong>the</strong> network. You can back up ei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong> running configuration or <strong>the</strong>startup configuration to <strong>the</strong> server as a configuration file. When you restore a configuration filefrom a server, it becomes <strong>the</strong> startup configuration on <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>.
