Allo<strong>the</strong>r interfaces must be defined by <strong>the</strong> administrator, after installation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>.To define an interface:1. Use <strong>the</strong> interface command to enter <strong>the</strong> interface context. Some types <strong>of</strong> interfacesrequire an identifier as a parameter. O<strong>the</strong>r types <strong>of</strong> interfaces require <strong>the</strong> interface’s moduleand port number as a parameter. For example:interface vlan 1interface serial 2/1For more information on <strong>the</strong> various types <strong>of</strong> interfaces, see Router interface concepts onpage 161.2. Use <strong>the</strong> ip address command, followed by an IP address and subnet mask, to assign anIP address to <strong>the</strong> interface.3. Use <strong>the</strong> load-interval command to set <strong>the</strong> load calculation interval for <strong>the</strong> interface.4.
