Managing login permissions●●Use <strong>the</strong> set port dot1x max-req command, followed by <strong>the</strong> module and port number(or range <strong>of</strong> ports) and a number from 1 to 10, to set <strong>the</strong> maximum number <strong>of</strong> times <strong>the</strong>port tries to retransmit requests to <strong>the</strong> Au<strong>the</strong>nticated Station before <strong>the</strong> session isterminated for a specific port or ports.Use <strong>the</strong> set port dot1x server-timeout command, followed by <strong>the</strong> module andport number (or range <strong>of</strong> ports) and a time period in seconds (1 to 65535) to set <strong>the</strong> servertimeout (<strong>the</strong> time to wait for a reply from <strong>the</strong> Au<strong>the</strong>ntication Server) per port.Displaying 802.1x parametersYou can use <strong>the</strong> following commands to display 802.1x parameters:●●Use <strong>the</strong> show dot1x command to display <strong>the</strong> system 802.1x parameters, includingwhe<strong>the</strong>r 802.1x is enabled or disabled on <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>.Use <strong>the</strong> show port dot1x command to display all <strong>the</strong> configurable values associatedwith <strong>the</strong> au<strong>the</strong>nticator port access entity (PAE) and backend au<strong>the</strong>nticator. To displayvalues for a particular port, type <strong>the</strong> module and port numbers after <strong>the</strong> command. If youdo not enter a module and port number, <strong>the</strong> command displays values for all ports onwhich 802.1x can be configured.
