Accessing <strong>the</strong> <strong>Avaya</strong> <strong>G350</strong> <strong>Media</strong> <strong>Gateway</strong>Accessing GIWThe <strong>Gateway</strong> Installation Wizard (GIW) is an automated tool that allows you to perform astreamlined installation and configuration <strong>of</strong> a <strong>G350</strong> controlled by an internal S8300. Install GIW on a laptop computer from <strong>the</strong> CD provided by <strong>Avaya</strong>. The laptop should berunning Windows 2000 or Windows XP.2. Plug one end <strong>of</strong> an RJ-45 to RJ-45 cable into a DB-9 adapter.3. Plug <strong>the</strong> RJ-45 connector at <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r end <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> cable into <strong>the</strong> console port (CONSOLE) <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>.4.
