Attaching policy lists to an interfaceYou can configure which policy lists are attached to each interface. You can choose <strong>the</strong> IngressAccess Control List and <strong>the</strong> Egress Access Control List from among <strong>the</strong> access control lists thatare configured on <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>. You can choose <strong>the</strong> Ingress QoS List and <strong>the</strong> Egress QoS Listfrom among <strong>the</strong> QoS lists that are configured on <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong>.To attach an access control list to an interface as its Ingress Access Control List, enter <strong>the</strong>interface context and type ip access-group list number in. To attach an access controllist to an interface as its Egress Access Control List, enter <strong>the</strong> interface context and type ipaccess-group list number out.To attach a QoS list to an interface as its Ingress QoS List, enter <strong>the</strong> interface context and typeip qos-group in. To attach an access control list to an interface as itsEgress QoS List, enter <strong>the</strong> interface context and type ip qos-group out.For example, <strong>the</strong> following sequence <strong>of</strong> commands attach policy lists to <strong>the</strong> VLAN 2 interface.Access control list 301 becomes <strong>the</strong> Ingress Access Control List for VLAN 2. QoS list 401becomes <strong>the</strong> Egress QoS List for VLAN 2.<strong>G350</strong>-001# interface Vlan 2<strong>G350</strong>-001(if:Vlan 2)# ip access-group 301 inDone!<strong>G350</strong>-001(if:Vlan 2)# ip qos-group 401 outDone!To remove a list from an interface, use <strong>the</strong> no form <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> appropriate command. For example, if<strong>the</strong> Ingress Access Control List for <strong>the</strong> VLAN 1 interface is list number 302, you can remove <strong>the</strong>list from <strong>the</strong> interface by typing <strong>the</strong> following commands:<strong>G350</strong>-001(super)# interface Vlan 1<strong>G350</strong>-001(super-if:Vlan 1)# no ip access-group inDone!Note:Note:You cannot change or delete a default list. You cannot change or delete any listwhen it is attached to an interface. In order to change or delete a list that isattached to an interface, you must first remove <strong>the</strong> list from <strong>the</strong> interface. You can<strong>the</strong>n change or delete <strong>the</strong> list. After changing <strong>the</strong> list, you can reattach <strong>the</strong> list to<strong>the</strong> interface.Issue 3 January 2005 259
