Defining policy listsDefining list identification attributesThe following policy list attributes are used by <strong>Avaya</strong> QoS Manager s<strong>of</strong>tware to identify policylists:●●NameOwner● CookieTo define <strong>the</strong>se attributes:1. Enter <strong>the</strong> context <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> policy list in which you want to define <strong>the</strong> attribute.2. Enter one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> following commands, followed by a text string or integer:- name — defines a list name (text string). The default value is owner.- owner — defines a list owner (text string). The default value is list#.- cookie — defines a list cookie (integer). The <strong>Avaya</strong> QoS Manager uses <strong>the</strong> cookieattribute internally. Normally, you should not change this attribute.To set a policy list attribute to its default setting, use <strong>the</strong> no form <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> appropriate command.For example, to set a list to its default name, use <strong>the</strong> command no name.To view <strong>the</strong> attributes, use <strong>the</strong> show list command in <strong>the</strong> context <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> list.Default actionsWhen no rule matches a packet, <strong>the</strong> <strong>G350</strong> applies <strong>the</strong> default action for <strong>the</strong> list. The followingtable shows <strong>the</strong> default action for each type <strong>of</strong> policy list:ListAccess control listQoS listDefault actionAccept all packetsNo change to <strong>the</strong> priority or DSCPDeleting a policy listTo delete an access control list, type no ip access-control-list, followed by <strong>the</strong> number<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> list you want to delete.
