This allows you to deploy devices in <strong>the</strong> networkthat require power without installing standard power cables. The <strong>G350</strong> MM314 enables you toconfigure a power consumption usage threshold, as well as to generate traps when thisthreshold is crossed.The MM314 PoE media module provides power over standard Category 3 and Category 5cables. The MM314 PoE media module is designed to comply to <strong>the</strong> IEEE 802.3af standard.Note:Note:When you connect a non-powered device to a PoE port, <strong>the</strong> PoE port statusalternates between Searching and Fault.
