Publisher’s NoteThe changes to the administrative division of Poland, that tookplace after 1999 resulted in the necessity of updating the previousedition of the “Toponymic Guidelines”.This third edition contains the newest available data. It alsoincludes a number of modifications; notably, the glossary of termsused on maps has been expanded.A full-colour map of the new administrative division is alsoincluded to the current edition of the “Toponymic Guidelines ofPoland”.This publication is designed to serve the internationalcommunity.
