You can spot a winning site manager by their site flags or boards which will showthe Pride in the Job logo.PIJ has been rewarding site managers with excellent standards on site for over 25 yearsand these winners have been hand-picked from more than 18,000 contenders acrossthe UK. Judging takes place all year round, and all areas of the site manager’s work areinspected, from the first dig to final touches.NHBC’s Chief Executive Imtiaz Farookhi says: ‘Now in its Jubilee year, the PIJcompetition has become synonymous with outstanding new homes and is a recognisedseal of quality for new homebuyers everywhere. The North is known for producing outstanding site managers, and last year was noexception when Bill Hughes of Miller Homes North West Ltd and George Lattimer ofCumbrian based J J Lattimer, successfully took ‘Pride in the Job’ UK Supreme Awardwinner titles. While Nick Kenyon of Binks Vertical Ltd won a place in the final.
