<strong>Public</strong> Sector Management Programwww.ocpe.nt.gov.auKeyComponentsFacilitatorsIs <strong>the</strong> PSMProgramAccredited?NominationsCancellationFur<strong>the</strong>rIn<strong>for</strong>mationWriting and Referencing Workshop – Qualified Charles DarwinUniversity lecturer to assist you in coming to terms with <strong>the</strong> correctstyle <strong>of</strong> writing and referencing required by Flinders UniversityLibrary Session – one-on-one sessions at <strong>the</strong> NT Library (Darwin only)Face to face facilitation <strong>of</strong> all unitsIn-course learning supported by journaling, peer coaching and integratedgroup activitiesMentoring and/or coaching (provided by <strong>the</strong> Agency / Sponsor)The program is delivered by different facilitators <strong>for</strong> each component, andfacilitators will vary each year.Facilitators <strong>for</strong> 2013 are Jennifer Dignam (Units 1 & 4), Pr<strong>of</strong>essor Ian Thynne(Unit 2) and Scott Way (Unit 3).All participants who complete <strong>the</strong> assessment requirements <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> PSMProgram will be eligible to receive a Graduate Certificate in <strong>Public</strong> SectorManagement from Flinders University <strong>of</strong> South Australia. This is apostgraduate qualification.Each PSM Program has 24 places available. It is important that <strong>the</strong>re is amix <strong>of</strong> departments represented in each cohort. Complete a nomination <strong>for</strong>mand <strong>for</strong>ward to <strong>the</strong> Human Resources area within your department <strong>for</strong> centralcollection as nominations are required to go through a decision makingprocess in order to prioritise placements be<strong>for</strong>e <strong>for</strong>warding through to <strong>the</strong><strong>Office</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Commissioner</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Public</strong> <strong>Employment</strong>. Departments arerequested to nominate candidates in priority order.All OCPE leadership programs run on a cost recovery basis. OCPE willinvoice departments <strong>the</strong> week after nominations close. If candidateswithdraw or seek a deferral during <strong>the</strong> program, departments will not receiveany refunds.
