ZSSK CARGOprovides maintenance activities, focused on renewal of functionalcharacteristics after failure or other emergencies, not only on itsown rolling stocks (RS), but these repairs are also offered to theexternal customers.Main activities, performed by ZSSK CARGO, include transport andbusiness activities on rail tracks. From the viewpoint of RS services,it is important that the transportations are effective and madewithout long idle times due to repairs of rolling stock. One of the mainconditions of routine repairs provision is the geographic location ofthe relevant workplace. From the viewpoint of the international railtransportations, Bratislava is an important traffic junction, where ourcompany provides routine repairs of freight wagons, passenger carsand motive power units. Crossing station in Bratislava also requiresoperational and technological cooperation with foreign railwayundertakings and that in the field of routine repairs of freight wagons,which were put out of operation due to technical defects. One example ofcooperation is re-profiling of wheelsets of passenger cars of structuralspeed 160 - 200 km/h, executed for company ÖBB in the workplacein Bratislava. Customer´s satisfaction with executed works led tothe certificate granting at the end of 2007.
