The Navitasfamily bursary applies where two or morestudents from the same family studyat a Navitas institution. The first familymember can be studying at a Navitasinstitution at the same time as otherfamily members or may have studied atany Navitas institution previously. For thepurpose of this bursary, a family memberis defined as a brother, sister, mother,father, son, daughter or stepchild.The family bursary is granted to thesecond and subsequent family memberswho study at a Navitas institution. Thebursary is equivalent to 10 percent of thetuition fee for the first eight courses ofstudy in the UTP Stage I and for the firstten courses of study in the UTP StageII programs. It is credited to the eligiblestudent’s tuition fee account each term(the amount being relevant to the numberof courses undertaken in that term).Please note: For students attending FIC, the Navitas family bursary is not applicable to English language programs or any component of an English language program.25
