A successful candidate will exhibit good human relation skills, initiative,problem-solving and organizational skills, dependability, leadership experience, and effective written and verbalcommunication skills.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESStaffing• Recruits, hires, trains, develop, and direct staff/volunteers.• Develops strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.• Reviews and evaluates staff performance. Makes recommendations for wage adjustments.• Recruits, trains, motivate, and recognize volunteers.• Provides ongoing staff/volunteer trainings; ensures subordinate staff/volunteers attend appropriate and requiredtrainings.• Ensures required certifications are current for all branch staff/ volunteers<strong>Program</strong> Service/Delivery• Implements character development, mission, diversity initiatives, and quality initiatives into program and memberservice delivery.• Offers fun, safe, quality programs that are in accordance with association policies/guidelines.• Directs and supervises program activities to meet branch and association objectives.• Coordinates use <strong>of</strong> facilities for program activities and events.• Establishes new program activities and expands program in accordance with strategic and operating plans.• Assists in the marketing and distribution <strong>of</strong> program information.
