Drawing on this vision and legacy <strong>of</strong> Mrs.Roosevelt, <strong>the</strong> nine-day GLW summers programs are exciting, fun and empowering experiences forgirls who are interested in social justice leadership and want to develop friendships with like-mindedpeers and adult mentors. Several times each week, during class time, students travel to dynamicurban neighborhoods to engage in hands-on service projects with respected local communityorganizations.
