36 Certificate of ComplianceWhether or not every component in the OEM’s machinery meets CE,the OEM must still submit his machine for CE approval. Thus, nocomponent must necessarily meet CE within the machine, as long asthe OEM takes the necessary steps to guarantee the machine does meetCE. By the same token, even if every component in the OEM’smachine does meet CE, the machine will not necessarily meet CE as amachine.Using CE-approved wiring practices (like proper shielding) and thefilters should assure the drive will meet EN55014 (1993 emissionsstandard) and EN50082-1 (1992 immunity standard).
