29Troubleshooting WarningDangerous voltages exist on the drive when it is powered.When possible, disconnect the AC line voltage from the drivewhile troubleshooting. Be alert. High voltages can causeserious or fatal injury.Before troubleshootingPerform the following steps before starting any procedure inthis section:• Disconnect AC line voltage from the drive.• Check the drive closely for damaged components.• Check that no conductive or other foreign material hasbecome lodged on the printed circuit board.• Verify that every connection is correct and in goodcondition.• Verify that there are no short circuits or groundedconnections.• Check that the drive’s rated armature and field outputs areconsistent with the motor ratings.
