Use of the latest digital technology will enable multifunction switching and simultaneous communications ondifferent radio frequencies.• MCTS Communication Towers Refurbishment (Phase 2) - Refurbish to baseline condition those MCTScommunication towers identified as the highest priority in April 2006. The towers identified are those thatdo not meet current operational requirements or are at high risk of failure due to rust-out and overloading.• MCTS Communication Sites Refurbishment (Phase 2) - Refurbish existing MCTS communication sites used byCCG across Canada to baseline condition.
