RAPPENLOCH GORGE
Near Dornbirn. One of the most spectacular gorges of
the Eastern Alps. From the locality Guetle you can
hike uphill to the summit of the ravine – partly over
wooden stairs, footbridges and even through a tunnel –
in approximately 30 minutes.
Located at the entrance to the Rappenloch Gorge, the
largest Rolls-Royce Museum of the world features
numerous automobiles of famous royal and noble
houses.
FELDKIRCH SCHATTENBURG CASTLE
The Schattenburg castle, built by Hugo I. of Montfort
around 1200, grants insight into the world of the early
16th century still today. The gothic castle chapel is
artfully decorated with frescos. The former rooms of
the bailiwick administration accommodate numerous
works of art by national and international artists.
In the baronial hall events can be held for up to 200
persons.
SILVRETTA-HIGH ALPINE ROAD
The Silvretta-High alpine road is considered one of the
most beautiful panoramic routes of the Alps. It is 22.3
km long and leads from Partenen in the Montafon in
30 breathtaking turns to the 2.032 m high Bielerhöhe
(toll road).
On the Bielerhoehe: Restaurants and the possibility to
drive around the lake by motorboat.
LINDAU (GER)
The dreamy small town on the Bavarian banks of Lake
Constance. Stroll through the alleys of the old town,
past the city hall with its multicolored facade and the
affectionately restored half-timbered houses.
