They also provide us with productpurchase trends and feedback from customers.We are a responsible steward of our environment.We have followed Just-in-Time and Lean Manufacturingpractices for over 20 years to reduce and eliminate waste.Listed below are some of the other ways we care for theenvironment:• Certified in Environmental Stewardship Programby the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer’s Association(KCMA).• Compliant with California Air Resources Board(CARB) Phase I for formaldehyde emission.• We don’t use particleboard in any Woodproproducts.• Despite producing wood waste daily from machineoperations, Woodpro has not taken a load of woodwaste to the landfill in more than 12 years. Woodwaste is used by Woodpro to generate steam energythat heats Woodpro’s buildings and finish ovens.• We recycle finish solvents, cardboard and otherwastes.• We use lumber optimization technology to reducelumber waste.• We use inter-office e-mail and both sides of paper toreduce paper use.We place Safety and Product Quality First. Our oldgoals for production speed have all been replaced bygoals for making quality products (Do it right the first time)in a safe way.We are important to our community.
