Since thenevery year MIMAT organises an adventure andmountaineering tour to various hill station aroundthe country.117 Students from 19 Schools Participated inMIMAT 2009 tour. The Schools were MVM Bilaspur,Damoh, Bhopal, Bhandara, Yavatmal, Modi-Nagar,Aligarh, Ambikapur, Raipur, Allahabad, MCEE-Bhopal,Hyderabad, Wardha, Sultanpur, Naduan, Jammu,Maharishi Nagar, Noida and kids club School Jaipur.This year under the able Leadership ofDr. T. C. Pathak Director (CPR), Maharishi VidyaMandir Schools Group, The tour was organisedfrom 15 th May to 25 th May 2009 at Kullu, Manali &Rohtang Pass.The aim of the institute is to introduce and initiateyouth to the nature, mountains and environmentthrough the Adventure Training courses. Specialemphasis is laid on understanding of nature throughthe great knowledge of Vedic Science and adventuresports, without causing environmental degradation.Course includes activities like trekking on mountainsand high altitude areas, rock climbing, river rafting &para gliding, bush craft, watermanship, camping,navigation, study of flora and fauna, & theirconservation.
