If he is not available please contactGeorge Kantzavelos.o We have health permits for the building and concession stand that yourparents may not be aware of.o When the clubs have a concession offsite let Dan know and he will geta health permit for that event.o We follow many procedures that volunteers may not be aware of. Soplease ask Jeff or George if a question arises. We do not want anymiss communications that could be avoided by just asking.• Ways and Means Committee is still in need of a chairperson. If you know ofanyone that would be interested please have them contact George.Athletic Director’s Report – Jeff Bral• Bowling is going to sectionals• Cheerleading went to IHSA state sectionals.• Mike White is going to state for Speech• Sal Annoreno will be going to state to defend his title in Wrestlingo Sal will be competing in the 138 lb class this year.o You can watch the State Wrestling tournament online.• Girls Basketball regionals will be at Wheaton Warrenville South• Boys Basketball regionals will be at York• Girls Basketball hosted a “Town Hero” game to honor our Veterans, on January19 th. They raised $7,000 for the veterans.• Dance was recognized this year as an IHSA sport.o They will be doing one club completion. TDI in March.• Track and Field has started their season• Fine Arts - The spring show will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat. The Cast is set.• March 1, 2013, BHS will be hosting a Music Fest• BHS will be hosting the 21 ST championship of IHSA Girls Basketball.(Concessions will open late that night. Fan door will open 6:30p-7pmish)• BHS will be hosting IHSA Regionals for Soccer, softball, and Baseball thisseason. BHS will not be hosting track for the first time in years.2

If you know of anyone whomight be interested have them contact Jeff Bral.• Soccer is in need of a JV assistant coach.• The new U-46 School Calendar will not impact sports camps• Be a Star Breakfast program will be at “Nature Ridge”Treasurer’s Report –Dan Lewis• Remember receipts or vendor invoices are needed before the checks can beissued.• We have paid $227.70 for Sports Awards• Fundraiser Suggestions:o Amit Gas – Currently we have only one person signed up for this.As a homeowner you save on your monthly gas bill and a donation ismade to boosters.o Electric – Last year we looked into doing a fundraiser for Electric.Boosters would get dollars every quarter while you would save on yourelectric bill.o Zany’s Comedy Club at Pheasant Run§ General Boosters will get 100 tickets. The tickets are $25.00 eachshow starts at 8pm. You must be 21 years of age and there is a 2drink minimum. Dan will look into getting a date in April.Committee Updates:Membership: Lynn HasensteinDan reported that we have 147 families.2 Families signed up for the $35 membership fee during the Effective Elective nightApparel: Betty Deleo and Dan LewisDan said thank you to all the volunteers that helped with Effective Elective Night.We sold $395 worth of sprit wear and another $185 in credit card sales.Spirtwear has raised around $3,000 so far.We would like to sell sprit wear on March 6 th for the Acedemy Open House.3
