Stage 5 <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Heritage</strong> <strong>Study</strong> will provide more detailed, relevant and up to dateinformation.O’Malley and Kern list (in their Appendix 3) species recorded in <strong>Darebin</strong> which are at least <strong>of</strong>regional significance. However the list is not intended to be a comprehensive look at how<strong>Darebin</strong>'s flora and fauna have changed. Since their work the naming <strong>of</strong> some <strong>of</strong> the specieshas changed and this will be updated in Stage 5 <strong>of</strong> the project also.135
