Nevertheless, remnantsstill occur – one example is at Central Creek Grassland in Reservoir.The Bioregional Conservation Status <strong>of</strong> Plains Grasslands is ‘endangered’, which is the mostsignificant rating available (PPWCMA 2006). These were almosttotally removed through clearing, grazing, filling, straightening and other channelmanagement, although very small remnants remain, which have now <strong>of</strong>ten been heavilyreinforced with recent revegetation projects. The conservation status <strong>of</strong> the remainingEcological Vegetation Classes (EVCs) is shown in the table below.134
